Due to limited staffing of many organizations, it is difficult to make a difference in providing financial training for young people.  There are free programs available that require going to local schools; but you only hit a small population and again, who has the time?  There are also web based programs that have no leader or supervisions, and young people just aren’t interested in clicking through data on their own.

 

iCap’s YFi program includes training for young people and their parents.  The results are increased youth client base, and decreased chance of young people getting into financial difficulty due to lack of knowledge of basic money management concepts.
